There are some great things that come from believing in the Lord Jesus Christ. In examining the text we can put ourselves in the place of the disciples and realize that in addition to talking to them He was also talking to us.

He Comforts our hearts (John 14:1, 16:6)

You are guaranteed a home (John 14:2, Gal. 4:26, Rev. 21:16)

He Gives us hope (John 14:3, Acts 1:11, Titus 2:13, 1 Thess. 4:13-18)

We have Eternal fellowship with the Lord (1 John 1:3, 1 Cor. 13:12)

He Assures our salvation (John 14:6,10:28,8:36,11:25, 1 John 5:12)
